PRE CITES KHAYA

We were lucky enough to bag one of the very last Khaya trees a matter of days before it was added to the CITES II appendix.

We're currently hard at work processing this huge tree which may well be the last of the Khaya we can get, but don't panic, there's easily 240+ bodies and 100+ necks in this tree.

The 4 on display here have been lightly baked as an experiment which we're really pleased with. We're seeing weights down as low as 32lbs Ft3 - which is just a bit heavier than swamp ash these days.
