Returns Policy
Examination of Goods: All goods are carefully examined prior to dispatch but should be examined upon receipt. Commencement of work upon or use of goods supplied will be deemed evidence of prior examination and satisfaction. Liability cannot be accepted for defects which become apparent in working or use of goods.
Luthiers Supplies cannot accept liability for the condition of your wood order if it has not been properly checked or stored within 5 days of receiving it. Goods may not be returned for replacement or credit without our prior approval, and must in any event be returned within 14 days of our prior approval, unused and unworked. We recommend that you remove all packaging as soon as possible and appropriately store the wood in the space you intend to build your instrument for as long as possible, so it has time to acclimatise.
Returned goods in transit are sent at the sole risk of the customer and must be securely packed. However, the use of excessive packaging materials and premium postal services should be avoided if the customer is seeking a refund on returned postage.
If your order has been damaged in transit, we will replace it like for like or with the closest possible piece. Claims in respect of goods damaged in transit must be received within five days of the receipt of goods, fully detailing the damage, the date of receipt, and the invoice number.
